Paw Cleanliness:

Maintaining a clean facility is a top priority at Bel-Kon Kennels. That is why we installed two Spray Master Technology (SMT) pressure washers, the highest end pressure washers available to clean and sanitize each kennel.

  • With high end pressure washers, a drainage system that is second to none was the most logical step. It ensures that water stays away from the pets.
  • The kennels are pressure cleaned twice a day, with an hourly check on the animals to clean in between as necessary.
  • Blankets, food and water dishes and toys are all removed and cleaned during the morning pressure wash.
  • Because the kennels are all indoors, Bel-Kon has been able to establish a cleaning schedule that is efficient all year long and is not dictated by the weather.
  • A clean facility promotes health and happiness for both pets and staff.

Paw Climate Control:

Bel-Kon Kennels has heat and central air-condition.

  • The temperature is kept at a constant, comfortable level.
  • The elimination of indoor/outdoor kennels allows Bel-Kon Kennels to efficiently heat and cool the space for the animals.

  • For the manager and all of the staff, these two systems offer peace of mind that, heaven forbid, should a fire break out, your loved one may be wet, but safe.

Paw Ventilation:

The kennel is also equipped with a high flow ventilation system which keeps air circulating and eliminates odors and air borne germs at all times.

  • Due to our careful attention to vaccination maintenance and our stringent cleaning procedures, Bel-Kon Kennels has not had a contagious sickness problem in the new facility.

Paw Video and Audio Monitoring:

The office and house are equipped with monitors and the kennel has cameras in every room.
